Museum Map A drawing of a real object that is proportionally smaller or larger than the real object is called a scale drawing.

A scale is a ratio between two sets of measurements.

Take a look at the two measurements being compared in the drawing on the right. We are comparing centimeters to feet.
Each centimeter will represent 15 feet. So 2 cm = 30 ft; 3 cm is 45 ft.

Landscape Art is drawn as 6 cm long so ...

6 * 15 = 90 feet!
